Your Quiet Escape in the Heart of Nature

Onyx Hotel Corbett isn’t a large resort or a grand building. We’re a quiet, nature-facing hotel in Bail Parao, built for travellers who love forests, fresh air, and simple comfort. Located near the main entrance of Jim Corbett National Park, our place is all about space to breathe, slow mornings, and peaceful nights under the sky.

Onyx We don’t follow the usual hotel rules. Our story is more personal. Our work is more thoughtful. Our team is more local. That’s what makes Onyx feel different.

How It Started

Onyx Hotel Corbett was started by a family who grew up around this land. People who know the jungle paths, the sound of the Kosi River, and the rhythm of the village. They saw visitors coming to Corbett looking for rest—but often finding crowds, noise, or too much fuss.

So they built a stay that keeps things simple. One that gives guests:
  • A real break from city noise
  • Easy access to safaris and riverside walks
  • Local food made with care
  • A place where children, couples, and older guests all feel at home

Where We Are

We’re based in Bail Parao, a peaceful part of Ramnagar that borders the Bijrani zone of Jim Corbett National Park. From our gate, you can walk to the Kosi River, reach the safari office in minutes, or drive to temples and waterfalls nearby.

Despite being close to the park, the area stays calm. You’ll hear birds, not horns. And in the evenings, you’ll see stars, not streetlights.

What We Offer

We offer a stay that feels balanced. Not too busy, not too plain.

Our Facilities:
  • Cosy rooms with forest-facing balconies
  • Separate spaces for couples, families, and groups
  • In-house kitchen serving Indian and Kumaoni meals
  • Safari booking support with all permit help

What We Stand For

Nature First

Everything at Onyx is shaped by the forest around us. Our rooms open to green views. We use natural materials, grow some of our own food, and avoid anything that harms the land. Our aim is to let you enjoy the wild without leaving a mark on it.

People Matter

Our team is local, trained, and committed. Whether it’s booking your Jim Corbett Safari, guiding your tour plan, or serving a home-style meal — we do it with care. We treat our guests the same way we’d treat someone visiting our home.

Keep It Simple

No loud design. No over-the-top service. Just clean rooms, fresh meals, and quiet time. We want you to breathe easy, eat well, and sleep better.

Our Way of Working

We’re not part of a chain. We’re not copying a brand. We’re running a place where honest hosting matters more than hotel words.

That means:
  • You’re greeted with a smile, not a script
  • You eat food that’s fresh, not frozen
  • You’re treated like a guest, not a booking ID
  • You can ask questions and expect real help, not rehearsed replies

Our staff comes from villages around Corbett. They know the jungle. They know the temple timings. They’ll tell you when to go, what to see, and how to travel easy.
